Associate Veterinarian

Associate Veterinarian

West Brazos Animal Center is seeking a Full-time or Part-time veterinarian to join our top-notch team. At West Brazos, we see hamsters, heifers and everything in between. We offer a variety of services from preventative care and medicine to advanced orthopedic surgery including plate fracture repair and TPLOs. Our clinic is well equipped with recently upgraded in-house lab equipment, digital radiography, dentistry, ultrasound, and surgical laser.

Veterinary Medicine is a rapidly expanding profession and there are more positions available than veterinarians. We want to talk to you about what your dream job looks like. Veterinary Technician or Assistant

Veterinary Technician or Assistant

West Brazos Animal Center is seeking Part-time and Full-time Veterinary Assistants or Veterinary Technicians for a predominantly small animal clinic. We are an established high-volume clinic located in Bryan, Texas close to Texas A&M University. We focus on practical, effective medicine in a family-oriented clinic. Large animals, exotics, and pocket pets also seen. We offer a variety of services from affordable preventative care and medicine to advanced orthopedic surgery including fracture repair and TPLOs. We are very proud of our ever-growing client base and our new facility is currently under construction.

We are interested in an experienced technician or a new assistant ready to learn and grow with our practice. Experience with Idexx in-house labs and Ezyvet practice management software is a plus.

Qualifications include:

Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
High school or equivalent (Required)
Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)

Our ideal candidate would be able to assists the veterinarians with patient care and treatment, monitor hospitalized pets, maintain inventory, prepare prescriptions, perform routine in-house laboratory work, educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assist with surgical procedures. Our staff tend to be very hands-on and work as a team to ensure that every patient receives the best care possible.

Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience, including:

Veterinary Receptionist

Veterinary Receptionist

West Brazos Animal Center is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Receptionist to join our top-notch team. At West Brazos we see hamsters to heifers and everything in-between. We are a client focused clinic which means that our front desk receptionists are the face of the clinic and critical to its success.

An ideal candidate would be someone who is organized, hard-working and happy to make every day a good one for themselves and our clients. Positive attitude and team mentality are a must. Previous veterinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with clients and coordinating communication between clients, doctors and technicians.
  • Creating appointments
  • Invoicing appointments
  • Clerical duties
  • Payment processing
  • Answering phone calls and emails
  • Maintaining over the counter products
  • Client Education
  • Filling Patient Prescriptions
